What is AYURVEDA?
Ayurveda originates from India and Tibet and is more than 5,000 years old. "Ayur" means life and "Ved" means knowledge. This holistic science is the knowledge of complete balance of the Body, Mind and spirit, including the emotions and psychology, on all levels. It includes in its consideration, longevity, rejuvenation and self-realization therapies through herbs, diet, exercise, yoga, massage, aromas, tantras, mantras and meditation. According to Ayurvedic tradition health is the balance of doshas reflecting air, earth, fire and water. Illness is as excess or deficiency of any particular element. Ayurveda treats illness at its source, rather than at the level of symptoms and helps an individual to take responsibility for his or her own health and well-being.What is AROMATHERAPY?
Aromatherapy uses pure plant essential oils extracted from nature's herbs and flowers. The aroma is inhaled, or applied to the skin and each of the oils (or combination thereof) addresses a specific disorder. The body is able to utilize the healing properties of the oils through the olfactory system of the body and so initiate the healing process. What is REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexologists believe that the entire body is reflected on the feet and hands. Foot and hand reflexology is a science art based on the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all parts of the body. The physical act of applying specific pressures using thumb, finger and hand techniques results in stress reduction, thus causing a physiological change in the body. A primary benefit of reflexology is relaxation. Relaxation through reflexology may help the body to balance any kind of stress it is experiencing. Multiple sessions are recommended for the most benefit.
